    Twangiza Mining SA (“Twangiza”) is located in the South-Kivu Province of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The mine became Banro’s first producing open pit gold mine in October 2011 and commenced commercial production in September 2012 with an annual production capacity of 120,000 oz AU.
